WHAT IS INGLES SCRIP AND WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH WCAA?
Ingles Gift Cards are a fundraiser for WCAA. Just as important, they are a fundraiser for you (parents, families and athletes). When you purchase Ingles gift cards (called scrip) from a WCAA Scrip Coordinator, you make money! For every $100 of scrip that you purchase, you earn $4.00 (4%) in your personal account and WCAA earns $1.00 (1%).
With the Ingles gift card, you can purchase groceries, gas (with a gift card, gas is three cents less per gallon), prescriptions, postage stamps, movie rentals, deli and even Starbucks in most locations. This will offset fees, pay for athletic related items and allow WCAA to earn funds.
If you sell to friends and family, that money is also credited to your athlete’s account. Even when your child is no longer playing WCAA sports, you can continue to buy scrip by emailing or calling one of the Coordinators listed below.

WHAT IS NCHEAC?
NCHEAC stands for North Carolinians for Home Education Athletic Conference. WCAA is a member of NCHEAC (Western Region) and we follow all conference guidelines. NCHE has been involved with home school sports since the basketball season of 2000-2001. Due to the success of these endeavors and the need for this to be replicated in other sports, the NCHEAC was established to organize and oversee regular season leagues and post-season tournaments in all of the traditional middle school and high school sports. See: nche.com for further information.
DO YOU HAVE A PARENT HANDBOOK?
